If you are adventuresome and want to experience Vancouver Island from a different perspective, try Adrena LINE Zipline Adventure Tours, just outside Victoria, BC in Sooke, described as, "...an exhilarating ride up to 60km/hr as you soar up to 150 feet off the ground on eight scenic ziplines ranging from 150 feet to an unforgettable 1000 feet." The first zipline is named "Commitment" because once you step off the platform; the only way down from the treetops is to complete all eight zips and a suspension bridge. I celebrated my birthday on the course. It was a bit scary at first, but by the time I reached the final zipline (in this video) it was pure fun!
