This page is an expression of my desire to help us grow beyond business-as-usual into more spontaneous, natural and meaningful ways of exchange.

As an experiment, I am abandoning my fixed-price-only approach to enable more people to enjoy these images and inspiration of nature. You are now free to use the images on my site for personal or educational purposes, without concern about my fees. If you want to contribute to my work, you can use the "donate" button below but it is not a requirement.

If you are publishing my images, I would appreciate a notation of origin (e.g., Image by Jim Chapman at www.beaconhillphotos.com) and a link back to my website, but only if it does not detract from the beauty and inspiration of the image in the way you choose to use it.

For custom prints, we can still discuss costs, sizes and any inscriptions you might want. However, cost will not become a barrier to enjoyment.

I am making this change simply because it feels right, not because I have it all figured out. If you have any suggestions for how it could work better, I would love to hear from you.
